Plantation House is a grand colonial style, luxuriously appointed villa located on the exclusive Royal Westmoreland Golf and Country Club on the West Coast of Barbados.

Plantation House is styled and furnished to an impeccably high standard and has magnificent views of the pool, gardens, and the Caribbean Sea. This much-loved family holiday villa was completely renovated in 2011.

On arrival at Plantation House, guests are greeted by an impressive open-air lobby, which flows through to the stunning formal dining and sitting rooms. The modern, high spec kitchen, a study, and five ground floor bedrooms are accessed from this central space.

Two sets of double glass doors lead out onto the main terrace, which overlooks the pool and garden. This area is perfect for relaxing during the day and for entertaining at night and is complete with a large dining table and 2 separate casual seating areas. The lower ground floor comprises a large TV/games room. A pool table, table football, and table tennis are available here, with a super-size TV and direct access to the beautiful spacious gardens.

The communal seating and dining areas comfortably accommodate 12 adult guests. Babies and children are welcome. However, please note that there are a lot of hard surfaces and stone steps at the property, which small children may find difficult to navigate.

The Bedrooms

Plantation House sleeps up to a maximum of 12 guests in a choice of bedroom configurations. A further two bedrooms are available on request. We can provide cots and high chairs on request.

The primary suite is accessible via a double sweeping staircase and gallery on the first floor. A spacious and beautifully appointed bedroom, this is the perfect place to escape for some tranquillity, to admire the views, or for a ‘sun-downer on the private terrace at sunset. The entire suite is fully air-conditioned. Five further air-conditioned bedrooms (all en-suite) are located on the ground floor, furnished with wardrobes, dressing tables, safes, bathrobes, hairdryers, and luxury bathroom toiletries. Plantation House has two further bedrooms on the lower ground floor. These rooms are ideally suitable for guests travelling with staff (such as a nanny or pilot) or equally for teenage children.

The Staff

Plantation House is cared for by two dedicated housekeepers and a gardener who will also care for luggage on arrival and departure. The local House Manager is on hand to assist guests with anything they may need during their stays, such as restaurant reservations or excursions.

Guests staying at Plantation House during winter and peak seasons will also benefit from a qualified local chef, who is available all day to prepare guest meals as required. They will also choose VIP Meet and Greet service on arrival at Grantley Adams Airport or Taxi Transfers on arrival. A butler can also be arranged at an additional cost by request.

The Royal Westmoreland Beach Club at Mullins Beach

Guests of this villa have complimentary access to The Royal Westmoreland Beach Club on the famous Mullins Beach. Sun loungers with cushion and towel, umbrella, drink service, shower and access to the restaurant serving excellent international cuisine. Royal Westmoreland Beach Club is a private and exclusive venue. There are regular complimentary shuttles to and from the beach.

Golf at Royal Westmoreland

Royal Westmoreland welcomes visiting golfers to enjoy the Robert Trent Jones Jnr designed course. Tee times for visitors are available between 10 am – 11 am daily, and the green fee includes a golf cart. Tee times book up fast, so make your reservations up to 7 days in advance.  Royal Westmoreland is well known as the best golf resort in Barbados.
