The Villa
The luxurious Palmier Royal Estate is the perfect venue for an extended family vacation or a memorable corporate retreat. The rambling estate encompasses three compounds connected via wooden walkways. The estate’s architecturally traditional West Indies design is complemented with stylish and comfortable furnishings, whimsical antiques and a touch of Ralph Lauren. The indoor living spaces include a gourmet kitchen, a dining area, and a mezzanine furnished for TV viewing. The buildings are air-conditioned throughout, and there is U.S. satellite TV service. The second compound has two buildings and provides an abundance of common gathering and living space. Cooking facilities include a fit-for-a-chef kitchen and a BBQ area. One house includes an indoor dining room and living areas for relaxing, playing board games, and TV watching. Downstairs, there is a well-equipped fitness room, with a full bath and separate WCs.
The Location
Situated just above the beach at Marigot Bay in prestigious Mont Jean. The views of Marigot Bay and the sea beyond are stunning. Guests can drive down to the water in their 4WD rental cars instead of walking down if they prefer.
The Bedrooms
A total of 11 bedrooms (including six masters) all have en suite baths. There are two first-floor master bedrooms (French king) with en suite baths with both a tub and shower. Downstairs, two bedrooms (queen and King/twin) have en suite baths, one with a shower and one with a tub. Six additional pavilions, each with a private terrace, dot the estate and contain seven bedrooms. These sleeping accommodations include two master bedrooms (king) with indoor (shower) and outdoor (tub) bathrooms; two equally sized (king) bedrooms; a guest bedroom, also with a king bed; and two smaller bedrooms. One has twin beds and the other a set of bunk beds.
Outdoors
Expansive outdoor living spaces include three pools and direct beach access – the swimming and snorkeling are delightful. The first compound’s main house includes a kitchen and an adjacent outside dining room that overlooks a beautiful swimming pool. The two pools – one for kids – are heated. A lovely gazebo with an ocean view makes for an enchanting place for guests to gather and relax. A seaside deck is furnished for lounging and dining, and a summer kitchen makes alfresco meals easy and fun. This area includes three outside showers and is equipped with two paddle boards and two kayaks.
