Martangie is a luxury villa rental in Reeds Bay on the Platinum Coast of Barbados. This four-ensuite-bedroom beachfront villa has been beautifully refurbished with marble flooring and high-end fixtures. The house comprises a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and four large ensuite bedrooms. The grounds are surrounded by mature trees and tropical vegetation and feature a plunge pool and wooden terrace.
The Location
This luxury villa rental is directly on the beach at Reed’s Bay in St. James on the West Coast of Barbados. The towns of Speightstown and Holetown are less than 10 minutes away by car. Speightstown is full of character, found in its architecture and historic buildings dating back to the early settlement of Barbados. Sidewalk vendors offer fresh fruit and vegetables; the fishermen unload their catch along the jetty, and local characters hang out at the Esplanade. Speightstown has undergone a renaissance and is once again an active and vibrant town while maintaining its charm. In addition, Speightstown is home to several beautiful beaches that are less busy than others along this famous coast. Holetown is a modern shopping area where guests can find shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Golf, tennis and other activities are close by, while The House Manager can arrange water sports and other water activities for you.

The Bedrooms
The villa has four air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms, all with ceiling fans. The primary bedroom suite and the second queen bedroom both have private patios with French doors overlooking the stunning Caribbean Sea. The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the fourth has twin beds that can convert to a king bed on request.
The Staff
Guests are well taken care of by the professional staff. Staff includes a daily maid, launderer, and a cook, who provides two consecutive meals per day. In addition, the property manager ensures everything in the villa runs smoothly.
Outdoors
A wooden deck area with sun loungers and a secure beach gate leads out onto a quiet sandy beach with swimming and reefs for snorkelling. A very private well-sized plunge pool is accessed from the living area.
