Indoors

Upon entry through the main double doors, guests feel welcome in the peaceful reception area with its beautiful palm tree as the centrepiece. To the left are a powder room and a pantry – complete with a wine cooler, mini fridge, storage for snacks and an ice maker.

Entertainment

There’s a cosy TV room for 8, complete with cable and DVD player and a study. Two iPod docks and wireless internet throughout the house offer options for play and remaining connected.

Living

The open-plan living room has high ceilings, a skylight, and a pool view. This space, designed with entertaining in mind, has plenty of comfortable seating areas, an elegant antique dining table accommodating up to 20 and a baby grand piano. More comfortable seating and lounge chairs are found on the terrace with tranquil garden views and the pool deck.

Location

Bedrooms

The bedrooms spread throughout the home on both levels have ceiling fans and air conditioning. Two master suites, one on each floor, have en suites, walk-in closets and French doors leading to a private terrace. The other bedrooms come with dressing rooms; most have French doors opening onto a patio, garden or pool deck.

Outdoors

Immediately outside the well-equipped, Scandinavian-designed kitchen is casual outdoor dining set up on the vast, covered terrace. Usually, the spot for a leisurely breakfast or lunch is prepared just how you want it. A full complement of guests can expect gourmet meals utilizing choice local fare prepared by the fantastic in-house chef. You’ll be tempted to dine in the whole time! Just off the living room over mini wooden bridges, to the left is an inviting pool with a deck, a water volleyball and badminton court (at the deep end), and floating loungers.

Sandy Lane Private Estate & Beach Club

The Sandy Lane Estate showcases many stunning villas and some of the world’s most iconic addresses, set on majestic, private, and secure grounds. Year-round, residents and guests of the Sandy Lane Estate enjoy unlimited access to the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate Beach Club (this is separate from the hotel). The club includes a bar and kitchen, internet access, bathrooms with changing facilities and showers, plus private parking. In addition, the club provides beach facilities, including the use of sun loungers. Refreshments are available on the beach. The nine and 18-hole golf courses, plus a clubhouse and tennis courts at the Sandy Lane Golf course, are available to guests at an extra charge.
