Elsewhere is a luxury villa rental immersed in lush tropical greenery. The Villa

This 10-bedroom luxury vacation rental is a labour of love, furnished elegantly to the highest standard and fitted with magical lights, works of art, beautiful brickwork and imaginatively created spaces where guests can entertain and relax. Elsewhere has every imaginable amenity from parking space for six cars, high-speed internet throughout, a fully equipped gym, air conditioning in most spaces, flat-screen televisions, high-quality speakers, and a top-notch security system. The main house has two wings with six en suite bedrooms, a living room, a covered patio, a kitchen, and a courtyard. A charming loggia and bar area overlooking the front and back gardens is one of the focal points of the house.

The Location

Elsewhere is located on the prestigious, private Sandy Lane Estate on the West Coast of Barbados. Some of the best restaurants and duty-free shopping in Barbados are close at hand, as are some of the island’s most desirable golf courses. Elsewhere is a five-minute drive (or a 15-minute walk) from the beautiful Sandy Lane Owners Beach Club, where guests have free access to a beach cabana, chaise lounges, umbrellas, snack bar, and washrooms and showers.

The Bedrooms

The main house has two wings with six en suite bedrooms,  two primary suites with king beds, and two further king bedrooms. An additional two bedrooms in the main house have twin beds that can be converted to king beds. The garden cottage has a king bedroom and a twin bedroom that can transform into a king bed. The pool cottage has a king bedroom.

Outdoors

The outside spaces have magic everywhere, from the fabled hanging gardens to endless vistas, waterfalls and whistling frogs. It lifts the spirits and forces you to discover what lies beyond.

The Staff 

The villa manager and concierge service will point the way and help you select activities during your stay. Debra’s villa chef is world-class, and the entire staff is warm and welcoming. Other hands will ensure your drinks are topped, clothes spiffed up, and massage is booked.

Sandy Lane Private Estate & Beach Club

The Sandy Lane Estate showcases a wide array of stunning villas and some of the world’s most iconic addresses, set on majestic, private and secure grounds. Year-round, residents and guests of the Sandy Lane Estate enjoy unlimited access to the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate Beach Club (this is separate from the hotel). The club includes a bar and kitchen, internet access, bathrooms with changing facilities and showers, plus private parking. In addition, the club provides beach facilities, including the use of sun loungers. Refreshments are available on the beach. The 9 and 18 hole golf courses, plus a clubhouse and tennis courts at the Sandy Lane Golf course, are available to guests at an extra charge.
