Anchorage is a charming single-story private luxury estate nestled within a half hectare of tropical landscaped gardens on the western end of the Sandy Lane Estate. Open plan living offers a bright and airy feel to the entire ho, complemented by the excellent quality furnishings.

The spacious vaulted Living Room is a blend of old Barbados mahogany furniture & coral stone with the more modern bamboo to create a modern Caribbean style feel. The main living and dining room has a large marble formal dining table perfect for enjoying dinner with friends and family while on holiday.

The Location

This wonderful villa is just a stone’s throw from the Sandy Lane Hotel and the private Property Owners Beach Club.

Ideally located less than five minutes walk from the Sandy Lane Property Owner Beach Club, guests can take a quick stroll down to the beach and enjoy complimentary sun loungers, beach umbrellas, and a small private cabana perfect for storing beach toys and surfboards. When at the beach make the most of your time in Barbados with a quick zip around on a jet ski or take a glass-bottom boat down to Payne’s Bay. The Bedrooms

Anchorage has three expansive bedrooms all of which feature air-conditioning. The large master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, a double basin ensuite bathroom, and a large shower. The second and third bedrooms offer twin beds, which can be zipped together to make kings. The second bedroom has a full bathroom accessed across the hallway and the third bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with bath/shower.

Outdoors

Once the large sliding doors are opened to the northern side of the living room, you naturally flow out onto the terrace that overlooks the pool and garden area. This space is perfect for enjoying a cocktail and a good book while others swim and play in the Barbados sun. There is also a small wrought iron table within the garden perfect for a morning coffee or a game of cards.

The Staff

Anchorage has a permanent Housekeeper who is an excellent cook and who will take care of your every need six days a week. She will prepare breakfast, light lunches, and other meals by arrangement only. She also will take care of all the laundry including personal items and keep the villa in top shape, so you do not have to lift a finger.

About Sandy Lane Estate

The Sandy Lane Estate showcases a wide array of stunning villas and some of the world’s most iconic addresses, set in majestic, private, and secure grounds. Year-round, residents and guests of the Sandy Lane Estate enjoy unlimited access to the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate Beach Club (this is separate from the hotel). The club includes a bar and kitchen, internet access, bathrooms with changing facilities and showers, plus private parking. In addition, the club provides beach facilities, including the use of sun loungers. Refreshments are available on the beach. The 9 and 18 hole golf courses, plus a clubhouse and tennis courts at the Sandy Lane Golf course, are available to guests at an extra charge.
